You and your family are invited to "Connect with Your City!" on November 26, 2025, at Echo '67 Community Centre.

Join us for the third annual Connect with Your City Open House to explore your city services, meet dedicated staff behind the important projects and initiatives that build your community, and gain a deeper understanding of the vital role each department plays in making Port Alberni a better place to live. 

There will be a wide range of activities including Master Planning engagement (4:30 - 6 p.m.), interactive displays, snacks, prize giveaways, and more! We also have childminding on site, provided by our wonderful Parks, Recreation and Culture staff, to keep your kiddies entertained while you connect on what matters most.

To participate in the City's Master Planning engagement session, featuring the Parks, Recreation, and Culture Master Plan (PRCMP) and Transportation Master Plan (TMP), register in advance. Click here to secure your spot now. Space is limited!

For the open house portion of the event join us anytime between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.

The PRC Master Plan team was at the Connect with Your City Event! on Wednesday, September 25th at Echo Centre - 4255 Wallace Street. It was great to talk to many residents and hear lots of great ideas!
