Where can I find more information on each Master Plan?
The City will release additional information on each individual master plan as they are launched.

Will there be public engagement?
Citizen input will be critical during the development of these plans to ensure that the City’s projects and expenditures in the coming years reflect what is most important to the community.
More information will be shared as it becomes available.
What about previous master planning work? Is the City duplicating efforts?
The City of Port Alberni has master plans in place that cover a number of City services, but most of these plans are in need of update.
This year, for the first time, the City is embarking on the development of series of comprehensive, City-wide strategic master plans that cover all of the City’s infrastructure and departments that will build on the OCP and past planning studies to provide the City with a road map of repair, renovation, improvement, and growth projects that are most needed in the next ten years.
